Axel Trolese has studied with some of the most internationally important musicians, like Louis Lortie, Benedetto Lupo, Maurizio Baglini and Denis Pascal. He has graduated both at the Paris’ National Conservatory and Rome’s Santa Cecilia Academy, while before obtaining the Diploma at Cremona’s Conservatory. Moreover, he has been an Artist in Residence at the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel in Belgium.
Besides his activity on the modern piano, Axel Trolese is also a passionate fortepianist.
His discography includes “The Late Debussy: Etudes & Epigraphes Antiques” and “Albéniz: Iberia, book I & II”, both titles having received an unanimous acclaim from the critics.
Prize-winner of numerous international competitions (Pozzoli Piano Competition, Grand Prix Alain Marinaro and Premio Venezia), Axel Trolese has performed in Europe, America and Asia, in concert halls like Auditorium Parco della Musica, La Fenice Theatre, Salle Cortot, Flagey, Keyboard Trust London, Valley of the Moon Music Festival in California, Millennium Concert Hall Beijing, Società del Quartetto di Milano, Amici della Musica di Firenze and Accademia Filarmonica Romana.
He has played together with orchestras like Jenaer Philharmoniker, i Solisti Aquilani, l’Orchestre de Chambre de Wallonie and Roma Tre ORchestra.
Axel Trolese has a piano class for Bachelor and Master’s Degree at the “Agostino Steffani” Conservatory of Castelfranco Veneto, in northern Italy.
